Becoming Neighbors Brevard: Finding Hope in Hard Times
It isn’t our shared likeness or the proximity of our homes but the depths of our relationships that make us neighbors. The more we know someone, the more likely we are to care about them. The more we care about them, the more likely we are to serve, love, and protect each other.
Join us at the Transylvania County Library’s Rogow Room for Becoming Neighbors – a community gathering designed to build bridges of understanding, trust, and cooperation across lines of difference. Over a shared meal, conversation, and creative fun, we’ll cultivate connection and belonging with families and neighbors throughout Transylvania County.
Our panelists will share personal stories of finding hope in hard times. Then, everyone will be invited to join small-group conversations and take part in a simple, hands-on art activity.
Families are warmly encouraged to come enjoy the meal together – free childcare will also be available.
Reserve your seat today! Space is limited.
