Becoming Neighbors Brevard: Turning Strangers into Neighbors and Friends

It isn’t our shared likeness or the proximity of our homes that make us neighbors. The more we know someone, the more likely we are to care about them. The more we care about them, the more likely we are to serve, love, and protect each other.
Join us for Becoming Neighbors — an event that helps people build bridges of understanding, trust, and cooperation across lines of difference. Through an afternoon of meaningful conversation and exchange, we’ll model how to cultivate connection and community. We’ll be discussing how to support a strong, diverse, and welcoming local business community.
Facilitated by Brevard Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Tamika Hunter. Featuring local business owners, Khaled Khiyar (Foggy Bottom Cabins), Michelle Grenci (Brevard Screen Printing), and Jessica Whitmire (Headwaters Outfitters).
Free refreshments | Registration is free | All are welcome

She has served on the boards of United Way, Transylvania Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce, and Heart of Brevard, helping strengthen the local economy and deepen community ties.
