Becoming Neighbors: Lessons from Batavia and a How-To for Your Community!

lumunos-workplace-leadership-training-2
Last year Lumunos created a series of in-person Becoming Neighbors gatherings with the intention of bringing people of different cultures, ages, faiths, sexual orientations, politics, and races to build bridges instead of walls in Batavia, Illinois.
Through compelling stories and dialogue, food and fun, strangers in the community became neighbors in ways that were deeply meaningful on a personal level and also improved the lives of others in the community.  What we learned at this divided and isolated time in our nation’s history is that it isn’t the proximity of our homes, but the depth of our relationships that make us neighbors.
Join us online on Thursday evening, January 30th to hear from some of the remarkable people who helped lead this initiative in Batavia, and to learn more about how you can partner with Lumunos to create Becoming Neighbors programming in your community and congregation this year!
While we offer our online programming for free, we encourage you to make a donation to help support our mission of fostering meaningful conversations and relationships that create purpose in life, belonging in community, and wellbeing in the workplace. To donate, click here
