Becoming Neighbors: A How To for Your Community
Last year, Lumunos launched a new Becoming Neighbors initiative that brings people of different cultures, ages, faiths, sexual orientations, politics, and races together to build bridges instead of walls. Through compelling stories and dialogue, food, fun and community service – strangers have become neighbors in ways that transformed lives and communities.
What we’ve learned at this divided and isolated time in our nation’s history is that it isn’t the proximity of our homes, but the depth of our relationships that make us neighbors. We are now in the process of expanding this initiative throughout our national network.
