Lumunos and the 12 Steps: How Meaningful Conversations Lead to Meaningful Change

Lumunos and Alcoholics Anonymous share roots through their founders and through the idea that personal transformation comes through authentic conversations and meaningful relationships. It is when we take accountability and heal that we are called to change our own lives, which then inspires us to create meaningful change in our communities.
First, we must identify what keeps us from change. In his book on the spirituality of the 12 Steps, Breathing Under Water, Richard Rohr says:
“We are all addicts… ‘Stinking thinking’ is the universal addiction… we are all addicted to our own habitual way of doing anything, our own defenses, and most especially our patterned way of thinking, or how we process our reality.”
How might we break free from the “universal addiction” in ways that heal, transform, and inspire us?
Join us online on Wednesday evening, February 26th to explore how we can all apply the 12 steps in our own lives and communities. In this, the first session of four, we will focus on the ideas of humility, courage, and surrender.
While we offer our online programming for free, we encourage you to make a donation to help support our mission of fostering meaningful conversations and relationships that create purpose in life, belonging in community, and wellbeing in the workplace.
