Lumzooms & Retreats
We maintain a terrific network of friends and supporters across the United States, so it is helpful to keep them all connected through monthly zoom calls or what we call - LumZooms. These calls seek to provide a space for our network, as well as those who are new to Lumunos, to share with and learn from one another around timely and important issues.
LumZooms typically feature a diverse panel of speakers (authors, artists, faith leaders, etc..), followed by small group conversations, and end with ways participants can create meaningful change in their own lives and communities. Recent calls have focused on creative topics such as: The Changing Spiritual Landscape, Living with the End in Mind, and Give My Regards to Broadway: Making it Down a Different Road.
Our LumZoom themes for 2025 include: Looking Back and Giving Forward: Finding Common Ground on Aging, Breathing Under Water: Lessons from the 12 Step Movement for All of Us, and Becoming Neighbors: How to Build Bridges Instead of Walls.

Retreats
We recognize how easy it is to become overwhelmed and burned out in life; distracted from the things that matter the most in life. We offer in-person retreat opportunities a few times per year for folks needing some space and time to rest, reflect, and renew. These day-long retreats, guided by Lumunos staff and friends, provide the kind of insight and encouragement people need to make meaningful change in their lives and communities back home.
Recent retreats have taken place in Asheville, Denver, and Chicago. We are also frequently asked to facilitate retreats for community groups, faith communities, and workplaces, so please reach out if we can be of help to you!
